In the park which used to be the armoury Mr Monkey inspected a collection of huge sculptures depicting figures from Czech mythology. Four sculptures were made by Josef Václav Myslbek in 1895 to decorate tollbooths on the Palacký bridge; they were damaged in 1945 and moved to Vyšehrad in 1947. The statue Mr Monkey is looking at is of Záboj and Slavoj, heroes who defeated invading Franks around 805. On the other side of the park Mr Monkey let Mr Rik by a beer from the refreshment stall in the Old Deanery.
