Mr Monkey in Bristol, 7th June

"It's not totally convincing, you know"

Saturday
After spending the morning at Crimefest, Mr Monkey went out for lunch at the Olive Shed. On the way there he spotted the replica Matthew taking passengers around the Floating Harbour. Mr Monkey did worry that it was sailing quite quickly with all its sails furled, almost as if it had a secret engine. Mr Monkey decided to go along the quayside a little, to see if the the tank engine had come out to play, and found that he could catch a train from a little platform near the S.S. Great Britain. The locomotive is the Henbury, an 0-6-0 saddle tank built by Peckett & Sons Ltd of Bristol and owned by Bristol City Council.
