Mr Monkey stopped for a moment in the upper pulpit, which was for preaching from, while the lower pulpit was for leading prayers and reading the Bible. Then Mr Monkey scampered up to the top floor, where there is a Common Room and five small rooms once used by John Wesley and his helpers and assistants. He visited the study set aside for Wesley, and looked at exhibitions about the history of Methodism in the other rooms.
