Mr Monkey visits Bristol Cathedral, 4th June

"Most cathedrals make do with just the one Lady Chapel, you know"

Mr Monkey scurried into the Elder Lady Chapel, built around 1220. It's called the Elder chapel because it's the oldest of Bristol cathedral's two Lady Chapels. Mr Monkey examined the blind arcading and admired the intricate carvings. He did wonder whether a monkey king really would enjoy a goat playing the fiddle.
