Mr Monkey left the captain's cabin, and looked up at the fighting top on the 92 foot high main mast. In battle, archers would be shooting down from the platform. Back on the main deck, Mr Monkey went into the armoury where all the personal weapons - polearms, crossbows, longbows and arquebuses - aboard were stored. The capstan for raising the anchor was in the armoury, and 20 gentlemen and officers slept there.
