Mr Monkey noticed it was getting late and the National Trust were about to lock the gates to the gardens so he scampered through them before they shut and set off back towards the car park. On the way he had a quick look at the statue of a slave holding a sundial standing in front of the house, and scurried past a 500 year old oak beside the moat.
