Mr Monkey left his luggage at his hotel and scampered into York. He stopped for a snack at a cafe in one of the turrets on Lendal Bridge. Looking out of the side window he noticed a bright red tour boat going past, and decided he'd have a trip on the river before going home. Then he set off down Coney Street. On the way he admired the figure of the Little Admiral standing on top of the clock of St Martin le Grand, who stayed in place when the church was bombed during the war.
