Mr Monkey sees Death by a Thousand Cuts at the CAC, 24th January

"They're more resting in the gel than on it, really"

Mr Monkey looking at Gordon Cheung's Acrobats Mr Monkey studying Gordon Cheung's Acrobats

All the paintings in Death by a Thousand Cuts are by Gordon Cheung, who is noted (at least by Mr Monkey) for his use of financial listings as a background to his paintings. The first work Mr Monkey looked at was Acrobats, and he was impressed by the thickness of the acrylic that the acrobats were resting on.

You can read about Gordon Cheung at the Gordon Cheung website.
