Mr Monkey visits Somerset House, 12th January

"That's quite a long drop there"

Mr Monkey left the Courtauld Gallery and decided to go and have a look at the Thames. He trotted around the outside of the courtyard because there was an ice rink in the centre, and looked up at the building. He noticed a warning sign on the balustrade around the courtyard, peered over the edge, and found out that the courtyard was the flat roof of a building in the middle of a deep hole. This was a result of Chambers having designed each section of Somerset House as a seperate six storey building, but only letting the outside public see the top three floors.
