Mr Monkey set off along the Mall and into Trafalgar Square. After stopping on a traffic island to have a good look at Horatio Nelson being nautical on top of his column, Mr Monkey went into the National Gallery to see the Art of Light exhibition, which compared German Renaissance stained glass with German Renaissance painting.
You can read about the exhibition at the National Gallery website.
The National Gallery doesn't allow photography so Mr Monkey had to stand in front of the cover of the exhibition catalogue, which shows a detail of the 1520 stained glass panel Tobias and Sarah on their Wedding Night.
