Mr Monkey peered into a display case full of smallish items. He particularly admired Ripples in Time, a pair of bowls by Sarah Malone. They're very thin and should evoke moments of the past reverberating out like ripples in water. At the other end of the case Mr Monkey studied Spool by Leanne Bramall. Like A Coastal Archive, her exhibition at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre, the pieces are inspired by the Manx coast.
