Mr Monkey at the Wellcome Collection, 4th October

"It's probably fascinating if you understand that sort of thing"

In the non-artistic part of the Genome section Mr Monkey inspected a bacterial colony picker used by the Human Genome Project during its 13 year mapping of human DNA. Then Mr Monkey had a quick look at a print out of some human DNA (in this case, Chromosome Y, Bases 1-28, 896, 752 Volume 1, pages 258-9) and decided it wasn't really light reading.

You can read about the Human Genome Project at the Wellcome Trust website.
