Mr Monkey in Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, 4th October

"You can spot the division by the cars"

When Queen Caroline took a chunk of Hyde Park to make Kensington Gardens she had a ha-ha dug, so that people could tell that they'd arrived at the Gardens by falling into a ditch. Now the ha-ha has been replaced by the West Carriage Drive, which seems to be popular with taxi drivers. After taking a last look at Kensington Gardens Mr Monkey left by the Alexandra Gate, wondering what was in the lodge on the Hyde Park side of the road.
