Before going in Mr Monkey wandered around the garden area outside the hotel. He looked over the concrete parapet and saw that the Novotel had cut some bits off their flags so that they'd hang down straight from an angled flagpole. Mr Monkey thought that probably broke an important rule of vexilology. He also noticed that there was a nice row of houses opposite the hotel.
