Mr Monkey in London, 2nd October

"It's very peaceful compared with the street outside"

Mr Monkey examining a mosaic path Mr Monkey in the Calthorpe Project gardens

As Mr Monkey trotted along Gray's Inn Road he noticed a gateway in a wall, went through it, and found himself in an interesting multi-level garden. A sign told him that the garden had been saved from developers by action by local residents. Mr Monkey wandered around the garden's wiggly paths, admiring the mosaic paving and the strange sculptures. Mr Monkey thought the gardens would be even better in the summer, and when it wasn't raining.

You can read about the garden at the Calthorpe Project website.
