Mr Monkey aboard the West-Hinder II lightship, 17th September


"I wonder if the crew had much of a view"

Mr Monkey went back down to deck level, scampered across the damp deck and went below decks. The first thing he saw were the engines and anchor chains, which held the lightship in position at 51° 23' 00" North 02° 26' 20" East for six months at a time.
