Mr Monkey scampered along the streets of Bruges and into Walplein. He looked at shops full of chocolate, and didn't visit a brewery (because it was shut), and admired the gables of the houses. He crossed a canal into the Sint Janshospitaal complex without really quite knowing where he was going. Over the tops of the buildings he could see the 122 metre high spire of Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk, one of the tallest in Belgium, and decided to head towards it.
