Mr Monkey in London, 3rd August

"Let's explore global urbanisation"

Mr Monkey in the Turbine Hall of the Tate Modern Mr Monkey looking at a picture of a city at night

Mr Monkey walked along beside the Thames until he arrived at the Tate Modern. He trotted into the Turbine Hall and went to see Global Cities, a thematic exhibition about cities around the world. He ran around watching short films about people living in cities, and studying graphs and photographs about the size, speed, form, density and diversity of Cairo, Istanbul, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Mumbai, São Paulo, Shanghai and Tokyo.

You can read about the exhibition at the Tate website.
