Mr Monkey in London, 3rd August

"I don't think we've stayed here in summer before"

Friday
When Mr Monkey got up and left his hotel he noticed that the trees on Northumberland Avenue were covered with green leaves. This wasn't really surprising, given that they're trees, but Mr Monkey realised it was the first time he'd seen these trees like that. He scampered along and climbed onto the Hungerford footbridge, where he got an excellent view of Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament.
