Mr Monkey scampered past locks 13, 14 and 15. When he passed lock 16 he'd run out of locks, and came to the sign welcoming boats to the top of the Marple locks. Mr Monkey found a signpost giving him the choice of taking the Peak Forest on to Whaley Bridge or turning right and walking along the Macclesfield Canal to Macclesfield and even further.
