Mr Monkey inspected a small mooring area, and scampered under a small bridge. He found himself in a rather narrow section of canal. This used to be the Rosehill tunnel, but in the late 19th century part of the roof fell in and they decided it was more sensible (and cheaper) to remove the rest of the roof and pretend they'd always wanted a bit of narrow canal. Of course, when it was a tunnel, they didn't need a fence on the top to stop animals falling out of the field.
