Mr Monkey visits HMS Belfast, 16th March

"That's another bit of the ship people would be shooting at"

Still at the top of HMS Belfast, Mr Monkey looked up at the foremast and the Forward Director Control Tower. This controlled the gunfire of all four 6-inch turrets. It was built with a large optical range finder, but got radar in 1942. Mr Monkey decided to clamber up the stairs to see if there was anything interesting inside the tower.
