Mr Monkey visits Seattle Central Library, 6th February

"I wouldn't mind having a library like this near me, you know"

Mr Monkey in the Betty Jean Narver Reading Room Mr Monkey looking at Elliot Bay from the Level 10 of the Central Library

At the end of the spiral Mr Monkey came out on to Level 10, home of the Betty Jane Narver Reading Room and the Hugh and Jane Ferguson Seattle Room (which is full of local history material). Level 10 is as high as the public, even monkeys, can get. Mr Monkey found that he could just about see Elliot Bay by looking down Spring Street. Then he took an elevator downstairs, scurried out onto 5th Avenue, and spent the rest of the day shopping and avoiding the weather.
