Mr Monkey scampered under the Alaskan Way Viaduct, which isn't the most attractive bit of road in the world. You're allowed to drive fuel trucks along the viaduct, even after an accident in this area resulted in thousands of gallons of flaming petrol pouring off the viaduct. Mr Monkey shuddered at the thought and then scurried along the waterfront to the Washington State Ferry terminal at Pier 52.
