Mr Monkey at Smith Tower, 4th February

"It's a good view, even with the cloudy obstructions"

Mr Monkey looking South from the Smith Tower Mr Monkey looking down on the Qwest and Safeco stadiums

Because all the other tall buildings in Seattle were built north of Smith Tower, Mr Monkey found there were fine views from the south side of the platform. He would have had an excellent view of Mount Rainier if it wasn't for the clouds surrounding it. He did find out that the building that he kept mistaking for an Aztec temple (in the middle of the first picture) was actually the US headquarters of Amazon. He was able to look right inside the Qwest football stadium, home of the Seattle Seahawks American football team, with the Safeco baseball field beyond it.

You can read about the stadium at Qwest Field website.
