Mr Monkey in London, 7th January

"It looks perfectly fine to me"

Before he climbed the steps up to the National Gallery, Mr Monkey stopped to look at the front of the building, designed by Mr William Wilkins. He wondered if it looked like a clock and two vases on a mantlepiece, as someone complained when it was built in 1838, and decided it didn't. Then he stopped outside the front doors to look at Nelson's Column from a distance.
