Mr Monkey dons his chaperon whenever he wants to look wealthy in a medieval city, whether strolling outside his shop or entertaining in the hall of his townhouse.
Bizarrely, the chaperon is a style of medieval hat that resulted from someone deliberately and repeatedly wearing a hood in a rather misguided manner.

Mr Monkey's chaperon is made from spare material from worn out clothes, with a bit of pipe cleaner to keep the cushion section in shape.
